The Board of Directors at the Houston Big Game Fishing Club plays a vital role in guiding the organization’s mission and ensuring its long‑term success. Each board member generously volunteers their time, expertise, and leadership~chairing committees, supporting events, and providing strategic direction that strengthens the Club’s impact on sport fishing, conservation, and community engagement. Their professionalism and dedication are central to the continued growth and excellence of the organization.

At the helm of daily operations is Laurie Baldwin, IOM, the Club’s Executive Director. Laurie brings more than 18 years of senior‑level nonprofit experience, including serving as President/CEO of Chambers of Commerce in both Texas and Southern California. Her career also includes almost a decade of leadership with an arts organization in Palm Springs, California. She now applies her extensive background in organizational management, membership development, fundraising, and community partnerships to support the vibrant sport fishing community and advance the Club’s conservation initiatives here in Houston, Texas.
