2026 Corporate Sponsorship

Corporate partners, community sponsors, donors, and members are the lifeblood of the Houston Big Game Fishing Club (HBGFC). They enable the Club to flourish and create a positive impact on both the community and the environment. With over 30 Corporate Partners, these sponsors are instrumental in supporting the Club’s various initiatives, such as scholarships, conservation efforts, and educational programs. If you’re considering becoming a sponsor or are curious about our support network, please don’t hesitate to reach out.

Why Sponsors are Essential to HBGFC:

1. Funding: The HBGFC donates the proceeds from their annual fishing tournament, The Lone Star Shootout, to essential club initiatives. This funding is critical for scholarships, conservation efforts, and educational programs. Without this financial support, many of these programs wouldn’t be possible.

2. Scholarship Program: A significant portion of the funds supports the HBGFC Scholarship Program, providing over $50,000 annually in financial aid to qualified students attending Texas universities or colleges. These scholarships assist with tuition, housing, and other university expenses for students in need.

3. Resource Sharing: Sponsors contribute more than just funds. They also offer their time, talents, and resources. Through generous donations of equipment, expertise, or unique experiences, sponsors amplify the Club’s impact and reach.

4. Community Engagement: Sponsors help build a sense of community and shared purpose among HBGFC members. Their involvement encourages other businesses and individuals to join, creating a larger support network for the Club’s goals.

5. Awareness: HBGFC sponsors raise awareness about the Club and its mission. Their involvement in events and promotions increases the Club’s visibility within the community, attracting more members and supporters.

6. Sustainability: The mission of HBGFC is to foster, promote, and increase interest in the sport of big game fishing, ensuring its legacy for future generations. Long-term sponsorship ensures the Club’s sustainability, allowing for the planning and execution of long-term projects and initiatives with reliable funding.

Our sponsors are the backbone of HBGFC, enabling it to thrive and continue making a positive impact on both the community and the environment.

As a 2026 Houston Big Game Fishing Club Sponsor, you’ll have the opportunity to participate in Club events, socialize, and network with other local businesses and members. This can help build valuable connections and promote your business within the community. Your sponsorship funds college scholarships, marine conservation efforts, and educational programs across Texas, making a significant difference in the lives of students and the health of the marine ecosystem.

Your company’s name and logo will be featured in HBGFC brochures, signage, and on our website. You’ll also receive exposure at various Club events, such as the Annual Awards Banquet and the Lone Star Shootout Invitational Billfish Tournament. By supporting HBGFC, you’re helping to promote the sport of big game fishing and ensure its future. Donating to HBGFC demonstrates your company’s commitment to social responsibility and environmental conservation, and is a great way to give back to the community while promoting your business and supporting a cause you believe in.

If you want your business to be affiliated with a local organization committed to making a difference in the lives of youth striving for higher education, as well as along the shores of the Gulf Coast, then you will be proud to be a Corporate Sponsor of the Houston Big Game Fishing Club.

The Board of Directors and Scholarship Committee will award scholarships each year, including one recipient designated as the Randy Bright Scholar, along with additional selected recipients.
